Service was performed and met expectations though an engine code could not be cleared but effort was there. The problem I have is the transaction fee for using my credit card. I have always had both my cars serviced here but will investigate other service centers on the Island due to my dislike over the charge. I prefer fees like that to be rolled into my service. You possibly have lost my business over this fee

We were very disappointed that our car had to be left in the shop for 2 days rather than the 1 we said it would be. The reason for this was that the panel that had be taken out for the window to be fixed wasn't replaced properly and the door couldn't open from the inside and it was returned in that manner and no no said anything about this. I guess it was thought that we wouldn't notice until we drove away and then they could deny responsibility when we brought it back. My advice if one goes back is to check your car over VERY carefully before you drive away.

I've generally been satisfied with the shop, but on my last visit they charged me $100 for a diagnostic test without telling me of that charge, on a total tab of $700. They didn't contact me about the findings as they related to 2 of the 3 things I asked them to look at. I stopped by and asked to discuss it, and they said they were closed, 30 minutes before their published closing time,. They said they would call me the next day, but never did. This was a disappointing change from several other visits I'd made there, spending a fair amount of money each time.

I took my Lincoln Town Car to Island Tire Northon March 9, 2016 where Barry Edwards (owner) assured me he could fix it. By the end of May, yes, 11 weeks after I took it to Barry, the car was still not fixed and it had a brand new problem under their care - the air suspension was now shot. Over the 11 weeks his inexperienced team, mostly a guy named Todd, replaced my alternator 4 times, replaced the battery again, replaced the wiring, and then replaced the ECM and LCM - all for $1,200 out of my pocket to cover his incompetence for labor and parts. Guess what Barry? In just 2 days and for $150, OC Welch Ford Service found that the rear subwoofer was causing the draw. Pretty simple and a fairly straightforward fix. I have made it a point to tell everyone I know not to take their car to Island Tire. They are inexperienced and untrustworthy. I will never do business with them ever again.

Quoted on phone $39.95 oil change and tire rotation My bill was $105.00. Manager told me it was a misquote. He said truck required full synthetic. He lied!! When I got home, I looked at bill and it stated it was a synthetic blend. Don't appreciate getting ripped off!! Will never go back again and will make sure friends don't use your service.
